My name is Francis Tanaka. I'm a happy married man and proud father of three wonderful children. After my social studies I worked as a family therapist and as a lector in an adult school for social studies. Because my father was Japanese, I am very interested in Japanese culture, food, language, etc.
After 20 years of social work, the time had come to combine it with another passion: Japan. My affinity with Japan and my social work-background made me decide to become a relocator for Japanese people.
Coming to Belgium for professional reasons might be a big adventure.
With "Irasshai" I want to help, support, guide and accompany Japanese people (and their families) coming to Belgium for professional purposes.
As a freelance relocator for Japanese expats I have the honour to provide services through the relocation company Be Welcome.
In 2017, I started up the Irasshai website. With Irasshai I want to provide a community site for Japan interested people in Belgium. I tought it would be nice to have a site on which you can reach almost everything that is related to Japan in Flanders by a few mouse clicks!
Enjoy the website and
I hope to read or hear from you soon!
